事業・部会紹介**Introduction to Activities & Committees

糸島市国際交流協会では、3つの専門部会を置き、協会の事業を企画・運営しています。

  1. 地域交流部会
    (主な事業)
    ○市民・会員交流事業
    →　2013年度に第1回”カレービュッフェ“を開催し好評だったため、2014年度もカレー提供国を増やして開催した。今後も開催する予定。
    →　外国人講師を招き”世界の料理教室“を開催。2014年度は、外国人を対象に日本料理の教室を開催する予定。
  2. 国際交流部会
    (主な事業)
    ○国際理解事業
    →　糸島市民まつりに留学生等を招き出店してもらい、自国の郷土料理を出品してもらう。
    →　九州大学、日本文化語学院、他大学・高校留学生等を対象に”ウェルカムパーティー“を開催し、交流を行う。
    →　ウェルカムパーティー参加の留学生等を対象に希望者を募り、”ホームビジット“を行う。
    ○韓国金海市関係事業
    →　日韓交流事業「糸島少年の絆」により、糸島の小中学生の韓国への派遣、韓国の小中学生の糸島への受け入れを行う。
  3. 広報宣伝部会
    (主な事業)
    ○広報誌Windowの発行
    →　年3回、広報誌を発行する。

***Introduction to Activities & Committees***

In the Itoshima City International Exchange Association, there are three committees planning and managing the association’s affairs.
  1. Regional Exchange Committee
    1. Activities for citizen – member exchange
      1. In 2013, because the first Curry Buffet was held and well-received, in 2014 it was held with an increased number of participating countries’ curries; there are plans to hold it hereafter
      2. We invited foreigner teachers and held a “Global Cooking Classroom” in 2014, there are plans to hold a classroom for foreigners to learn Japanese cuisine
  2. International Exchange Committee
    1. Activities for international understanding
      1. Inviting international students to Itoshima Citizen’s Festival, and having them present their own country’s local cuisine
      2. Hold a Welcome Party for international students of Kyushu University, Japan Institute of Japanese Language and Culture, and other universities and high schools and conduct exchange
      3. Recruit applicants from the international students attending the Welcome Party, and conduct Home Visits.
    2. Activities related to Gimhae, Korea
      1. Through the Japan-Korea exchange activity Itoshima Youth Bonds, dispatch Itoshima elementary and middle school students to, and receive students from, Korea
  3. Publicity Committee
    1. Publish the bulletin Window thrice annually

Association members can become committee members, and there are many conducting the association’s planning and management.
